  • I don’t think anyone can prepare you for just how difficult it is to be a wedding photographer, documenting love stories while quietly navigating the end of your own marriage. I don’t usually share much of my personal life on here, but it felt important to be honest about what’s been happening behind the scenes. The last little while has been really tough. There were definitely days when it felt surreal to spend my weekends capturing one of the happiest days of someone else’s life while my own marriage was coming to an end. It wasn’t always easy to show up emotionally, but somewhere along the way, each wedding became a little less difficult. They reminded me why I fell in love with this job in the first place. So, to every couple who trusted me with your memories… thank you. You probably had no idea how much your wedding days gave me something positive to focus on and pour myself into during a really difficult time 🤍 I’m also so thankful for everyone’s patience with emails, messages, and everything happening behind the scenes. This has been one of my busiest seasons yet, and I had to give myself a little extra time and grace while navigating everything personally. I’m still healing. Still figuring things out. But I’m also genuinely excited for what’s next (for me and for this little business I’ve poured so much of myself into) And I guess this also means... a business name change is on the horizon 🙈 So if you suddenly see a new name popping up over the next little while, don’t panic. It’s still me behind the camera…just with a name that feels a little more like this next chapter. So….here’s to new beginnings, whatever they may look like 🤍

I don’t think anyone can prepare you for just how difficult it is to be a wedding photographer, documenting love stories while quietly navigating the end of your own marriage. I don’t usually share much of my personal life on here, but it felt important to be honest about what’s been happening behind the scenes. The last little while has been really tough. There were definitely days when it felt surreal to spend my weekends capturing one of the happiest days of someone else’s life while my own marriage was coming to an end. It wasn’t always easy to show up emotionally, but somewhere along the way, each wedding became a little less difficult. They reminded me why I fell in love with this job in the first place. So, to every couple who trusted me with your memories… thank you. You probably had no idea how much your wedding days gave me something positive to focus on and pour myself into during a really difficult time 🤍 I’m also so thankful for everyone’s patience with emails, messages, and everything happening behind the scenes. This has been one of my busiest seasons yet, and I had to give myself a little extra time and grace while navigating everything personally. I’m still healing. Still figuring things out. But I’m also genuinely excited for what’s next (for me and for this little business I’ve poured so much of myself into) And I guess this also means... a business name change is on the horizon 🙈 So if you suddenly see a new name popping up over the next little while, don’t panic. It’s still me behind the camera…just with a name that feels a little more like this next chapter. So….here’s to new beginnings, whatever they may look like 🤍
